So how do companies become more innovative? This iSixSigma research shows that it is
about more than just developing new products and services. The research also sheds light
on how companies execute innovation, on the tools they use, and on the relationship
between Six Sigma and innovation.

Key findings:
- 39 percent of respondents said their company uses a systematic process or methodology for innovation
- 42 percent of respondents said their company regularly uses Design for Six Sigma/Design for Lean Six Sigma for innovation
- 64 percent of respondents reported spending "some" of their time innovating
