Conduct a strategy deployment and execution using this two-part product, originally developed as a companion to the electronic Applied Strategy Execution Training Guide + Slides. To fully utilize the benefits of the templates, we recommend using the two products in conjunction with one another. However, even as a stand-alone, it’s a great value for your money.

The templates found in Section 2 of this product may be used as a tool to capture pertinent information from each deployment level.

Some cells are modifiable (for example, to remove unneeded or unwanted elements). The templates can be printed for manual fill-in use. Section 2 can also be used as electronic forms. For a cleaner look, all header and footer elements EXCEPT the copyright notice may be removed before printing.

This PDF template file contains seven user response pages to the Practical Exercises presented in the ASE(tm) Application Guide (Section 1) and eight fill-in deployment map template forms contained in an embedded MS excel spreadsheet (Section 2).

Section 1 is a series of seven printable pages designed to accept user entries from the Practical Exercises presented in the Applied Strategy Execution Training Guide + Slides. Print out as you complete the Application Guide (tm) exercises, then fill out manually or photocopy for your use.

Section 2 (see sample) contains an example wall map and a set of eight tabs within an excel template (one tab per deployment cascade level). The templates follow the basic structure of the ASE(tm) methodology.

Use as a reference when conducting your own strategy deployment and execution; either as printable blanks for manual fill-in, or as electronic forms to replicate as needed.

As an aid in building a complete deployment map on paper, “off-page connectors” are included on each of the templates. If you want to create a wall map or tabletop map use these to label the sheets with matching letters, numbers, symbols or colors to match up adjoining sheets like a puzzle.

Template sheet contents are by level of the deployment cascade, and include:

1. Plan Period and its Strategic Goals
2. Strategic Goal (SG) and its Strategic Objectives and Key Performance Indicators
3. Strategic Objective (SO) and its System Critical Success Factor
4. System Critical Success Factor (SCSF) and its Leadership Activities
5. System Critical Success Factor (SCSF) and its Department Objectives
6. Department Objective (DO) and its Process Critical Success Factors
7. Process Critical Success Factor (PCSF) and its Process Objectives
8. Process Objective (PO) with its respective Projects/Activities/Tasks (PAT’s)
