Each simulation includes a description of the quality management theory and an explanation of how the game illustrates it. It’s a helpful tool when teaching Six Sigma and conducting other process improvement training sessions.

• Deming's funnel experiment shows the effects of tampering
• John McConnell's dice experiment illustrates the benefits of reducing variation. It shows that aiming at the target alone does not guaranee that the process will be efficient. Current quality thinking calls for processes that are on target with minimal variation
• The central limit theorem shows the effect of sampling
• The quincunx explains the normal curve and answers the questions: Why do statisticians talk so much about 'Normal Distributions' and why does a Capability analysis rely on the use of a 'Normal Curve'? This simulation shows how a physical process naturally gives rise to this particular frequency distribution.

Installation Options

The Game Box allows for three set up options:
- Complete Setup (all program features are installed)
- Minimum Setup (the least required set of features will be installed to conserve disk space)
- Personalized Setup (complete control over which program features are installed. Recommended for advanced users)
