Author
This book was written by Norman E. Fowler. Norman was the Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Xerox Corporate Lean Six Sigma Office and had responsibility for developing and deploying the Design for Lean Six Sigma program. Together with a series of outstanding Xerox colleagues and consulting partners, they were able to break down barriers and implement an innovative Design for Lean Six Sigma program that is both pervasive across Xerox and sustainable over time.Endorsements
“I have read many excellent books on Lean and Six Sigma initiatives at companies throughout the world. Norm Fowler's portrayal of the Xerox experience is one of the best. Norm depicts the Xerox effort in very plain terms and offers insights from the ground level.I particularly enjoyed this book because it reflects the experiences of an individual that was on the front line planning and overseeing the deployment of the Lean/Six Sigma program within the Engineering and Scientific community at Xerox. From this vantage point, Norm is able to offer perspectives that I found unique from the other books I have read on this subject.
If you are looking for practical advice on how to successfully launch Lean and/or Six Sigma within your organization, this is the book you must read.”

“An outstanding book that gets to the point is a quick and easy to read style. Insightful...” by Philip Mayfield
