We all know that the economy, like the old gray mare, just ain’t what it used to be. As for Six Sigma salaries, fortunately – or unfortunately – in most cases they are exactly what they used to be.

The 6th Annual iSixSigma Global Salary Survey report is based on the responses of 2,730 business improvement professionals currently employed in Black Belt (BB), Master Black Belt (MBB), Champion and Deployment Leader (DL) roles. This year we expanded the roles covered in the report to also include those who identified themselves as a Quality Professional (QP) or a Quality Executive (QE).

Also new this year, salary and bonus data in the narrative portion of the article is organized by role rather than by region as has been the custom in past years. The data tables A through Y at the end of the report, however, are still presented by region. The five regions are: United States, Europe (includes the Middle East and Africa), Asia and Pacific Nations, Latin America, and Canada. A breakdown of the United States by its subregions – Northeast, South, Central and West – also is included.
